Minimal Music Study June 2009

This is a minimal music piece in which a wind instrument and a piano together create polyrhythmic patterns, which means for example that the piano can play a small 3 counts loop and the wind instrument a 20 counts loop. The harmonies and melody slowly evolve. There’s also a focus on volume dynamics. There’s some Morton Feldman influence in this.
